ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A NO COST DYNAMIC, STRUCTURED YOUTH PROGRAM THAT OFFERS FUN CHALLENGES & FRIENDS?
The Cadet Program helps develop leadership, teamwork, citizenship and physical fitness through various opportunities and experiences. Youths are able to build their self confidence through a peer led environment that promotes independence while also fostering mentorship relationships and team collaboration. Additionally, cadets are encouraged to become responsible members of our community by contributing to activities and services that promote community, citizenship and environmental stewardship.
Who Sponsors the Cadet program?
The Cadet Program is sponsored by the Department of National Defense and the Navy League of Canada. Through these sponsorship, cadets are provided with their uniforms, weekly training, summer camps and additional opportunities throughout the year. In turn, cadets are expected to assist with fundraising initiatives as well such as Tagging and local events.
RCSCC TRIUMPH is also very fortunate to have an excellent relationship with Battlefield Legion Branch 622 who also support our corps. Our cadets are able to give back to the Legion for their support by assisting with the Poppy Campaign and Friday Night Fish Fry's.

Yesterday we had the honor of attending HMCS ONTARIO's Final Graduation Parade for 2026 🫡This Cadet Training Centre's focus was on the Sail 1, 2, 3, Seamanship and Ship Boat Operator courses only offered to the Sea Cadet program. These courses range from 2, 3 to 6 weeks. ⛵️Cadets have been staying at Queens University while completing their training at the Royal Military College in Kingston. 🪢Bravo Zulu Cadets on all your accomplishments this past summer ☀️ We can't wait to hear more from all of our TRIUMPH cadets who attended as we were only able to catch up with a few but so far - all smiles 😃 --- Did you know that joining the Sea Cadet program is completely free? Cadets complete regular training at their local units from September to June at no cost and are eligible to apply for summer camp positions if interested. Summer camps provide transportation, accommodations, food, training all at no cost to the cadets. Course cadets earn a weekly training bonus and Staff Cadets (Ages 16 to 18) are paid positions!Want to learn more about this fantastic youth organization?
